April 19 Allure Beauty Box

I know, what you’re thinking…C’mon Sunshine, You fell in the beauty box rabbit hole, again? Yes. I. Did. But only the Allure box. I had the most limited experience with it, so I decided to give it a go again. I also want to get back into Scentbird, but I need to check and make sure they have their move and all of that behind them first. I miss getting my perfumes, but they sure got a lil slack. Um. Okay. If I’m being completely honest with you, getting my subscriptions became a total shitshow and I suspended both accounts. But. Hopefully we’re beyond all that now.

Back to Allure April.

This is what I received:

(I have used all of this stuff.)

My first ever Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Pure Hollywood. The shade is nice, it’s a nudey pink, I’m just not a fan of liquid lipsticks. Especially not worn by themselves anyway. I usually have to top them with a gloss or a balm. I wore a balm with this one.

It’s not what’s on my lips in the photo following. I took it off and went to my OG Cupcake by Amuse. I have to have the hydration otherwise my lips look like raisins and who wants that?

More Briogeo hair stuff. This one is Farewell Frizz. I like it okay. It’s a leave in conditioner. Little and I have both been using it. Smells nice. Does it make my hair smoother and not a total frizz bucket? Eh. Not really, but I air dry and since I’m lightning black hair to a suitable shade for grey…nothing can really help me at this point.

Natasha Denona Eyeshadow in 124K Bronzage. Yes, please and thank you. I’m wearing this shade all over my lids today. It is absolutely beautiful. I was hoping to not enjoy it because this brand is soooooo stinking expensive. This one little baby shadow is 27.00$

That’s a lot Natasha. I’m just sayin’. 💸

I tried out the above shadow with the Moda Triad Eye brush. Ooooh. Isn’t it lovely? It’s a nice brush. It picked up the shadow well and blended it where I needed to blend it. I’ll definitely keep it in my everyday brushes.

(The products below, I haven’t used, I’ll have to get back to you on the verdict.)

Vita Liberata Phenomenal Tan Towels. I’m afraid of tan towels ever since the Orange Tan Towel Fiasco. Whew. Carrot would have been a better look.

Laura Gellar Inkcredible Green Waterproof Eyeliner in Green. ( I did put this under my lash line for poops and giggles. It’s okay. The green kinda gets lost in the translation, but I’ll give it a good go a little later on and we’ll see what happens. The swatch was super hard to remove. I’d say it’s definitely long wearing!

Mally Eyeshadow Stick in Autumn Shimmer. The first swatch is just off of the pencil/ crayon, the second swatch is blended a bit.

I. Can. Not. Wait. To. Try. This. Stuff.

It’s a very me shade.

I enjoyed this box, my favorite no doubt is the Natasha Denona eye shadow. It’s like buttah, baby. Bronze buttah.

OH, I forgot to to total up the retail….just a sec.

That’s expensive.

Have you guys tried Allure Beauty Box? Did you get this month’s box? What did you think?
