Empties, Trashy Talk

I’ve been going thru bubble bath like a crazy lady. I got two of the Dial Marula Oil Body Wash. I accidently threw the first one away…ha ha..I forgot every body likes empties. Anyway, this stuff smells amazing.  I’m not so sure how it does for moisture, because my skin is a hot mess. Dry. Dry. Dry. It makes good bubbles and that’s what matters.  I would definitely repurchase.

I also went thru another Caress Body Wash, Sheer Twilight is my favorite scent. It’s been my favorite for years. I use it for bubble bath too. Again, I’m not so sure about the moisture because my skin is so dry, but the bubbles are foamy and smells fantabulous. I already have another in use.

Little and I go thru Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner like nobody’s business. It’s the only thing that detangles his long, curly hair and I just use it because I despise a cluttered shower. It gets the job done for us both. I’ve already repurchased.

I finally used up the other St Ives Exfoliate & Nourish, Coconut Scrub. I just used it up to use it up. I didn’t see where this one or the Apricot one done any good. At all. I wouldn’t re purchase. It left me kinda meh.

Speaking of St Ives, I didn’t use all of this lotion, it’s just sour and I can’t deal with the smell. It was okay. Not ground breaking, just okay. I probably wouldn’t re purchase because I need something a little more clinical. Dry. Dry. Dry.

Now on to the make upy stuff.

Oh, I forgot about this deodorant, I finally used it up too. Again it was just okay. Kinda sticky, but because your girl is a sweaty man beast, I have to have the clinical strong man one. I didn’t smell like one while I was wearing it though, so that’s a plus.

Now on to the makeupy stuff.

I finally used up the Ebony NYX Brow Pencil. It was perfect timing, since I lightened my hair, I didn’t really need a brow pencil so dark. I found one I’d ordered by mistake in the shade Espresso. The pencils are good, user friendly and they last. I would definitely repurchase.

I didn’t like Shape Tape at all when I first got it. As a concealer it’s too dry for me. Like cake city kind of dry. But, as a tool to clean up my brows, it’s perfect.  I also use it to prime my eye lids and it works like a charm for that too. I used all of this little baby one, I think it came in a Boxy Charm or something. I did purchase the biggie and I’m using it now.

This little guy was floating around in my Foundation bin. You can tell it’s an oldie, it has the old packaging. I got a few more uses out of it and in the bin it went. However. This is the foundation that I use every day. It’s my favorite. I have and will continue to repurchase.

I used the Clinique Hydrating Jelly foil pack and wasn’t so impressed with it. This is what I had on my face Saturday when I went to the salon to have my hair done.

My makeup felt like it was sliding off of my face all day. I wore it with the foundation above, pretty sure that wasn’t the problem…anyway, I couldn’t wait to get home and wash my face. Evidence is below.

I wouldn’t repurchase this product. There are other great moisture bringers that don’t piss off my foundation.

I also used up the Candle Light Glow sample by Laura Mercier. It was pretty. Glowy. Definitely brought the moisture. The shade was perfect. Would I purchase, eeeeeh. I don’t know. Probably not, but only because there are so many I want to use in my collection.

Last one guys.

I finished up a mini Purity sample by Philosophy. Lots of people swear by this stuff. I think it’s okay. It smells okay. It washed the junk off of my face, but not any better than my regular cheaper face wash. I probably wouldn’t purchase it. I’m kinda simple about what I clean my face with.

Anyway, that’s what was in my trash bin. Seems like there was a lot of just meh things this time.

What have you guys been using up? Do you like these sorts of posts?

xoxo,

Sunshine.
