Life just happens. Hours run into days and days into weeks and before you know it, it’s been a month. Just like that. That’s where I am right now. Like my days are unending and the nights pass quickly.

November was a blur for me. Getting sick after so many years of remission really kicked me in the butt. Maybe requiescence is a better word. Isn’t that what they call it when a person’s disease activity goes away, or rests…but doesn’t really go away or rest? I’m still blaming that damn cheeseburger, but that’s another story. On the up side, I am feeling better now, even the exhaustion seems to be lessening.

I have been on a skin care and make up mission. More skin care and less makeup, but makeup just the same. I recently purchased the Sultry Palette by ABH. I can’t wait to try it out. And I’ve been loving the new serum/ primer thingie from Aveeno. I’ve been using it long enough to have a formal opinion on it and it’s good. Sunshine approved. Did I mention they opened a new Ulta like 15 minutes from my house?

My credit card is crying.

C R Y I N G.

You hear me? Full on snotty tears crying. But. My skin looks pretty good for a 40 ish year old.

Speaking of age and ishes. Someone very handsome and I are going out of town for his birthday next week. We are both looking so forward to it. I love the coast, it’s where I feel the most peace. I’m planning on cooking every day and I’m also looking forward to spending copious amounts of time in a hot tub by the sea.

Little was recruited for the Mustangs basketball team. Our first game was last night. Man. It was exciting. I sat beside Little’s Bonus Momma, we had a ball. She’s such a good person, she loves my son and she makes his Daddy happy. That’s what I care the most about. Anyway, the boys lost, but damn if they didn’t give it all they had. I’m proud of them. Game number 2 is on Thursday. I’m looking forward to it.

In other news, I finally did the chop.

Anyway, I hope that you guys are all doing well. I haven’t forgotten about you.

Here’s to a snowy December and all of the joy that year’s end brings.

Yup. My credit card is exercised out. It’s gasping for air…plllllease, stop. I need to rest. No more usage.

    Like the hair cut.

I’m a fan of natural. I rarely dye my hair and just let the gray in…
