Anti Cherry Eyes ❌🍒

I think everybody and their Momma on Youtube received the Urban Decay Cherry collection this week and I’m over it already. I love the look, but wanted to break out of the monotony of cherry everything. I dug out my 35O2 by Morphe and created this anti cherry eye look.

This is how I got the look. I used a little of Love from The Needs palette, by Emily Noel, as a highlight shade because the 35O2 doesn’t have anything close.

From there, on a teeny fluffy brush, I added Ablaze into my crease and slightly above and really blended it out. This shade is beautiful. I blended it out and added more until I was happy with the gradient,  definitely wanted it darker in the crease and lighter towards my brow. Next, on a flat shader brush, I added a teeny bit of Fire to the outer half of my lid. This is one of the most concentrated reds I have ever worked with.

I sprayed a flat shader with setting spray and patted Pure on the inner half of my lid and blended it all with a clean fluffy brush. For my lower lash line, I kind of tight lined with Chestnut and smoked it out Heat to give a little darkness. I added just a smidge of Fire to tie it all together and finished it all up by adding NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk to my waterline.

2 coats of Superhero mascara later.

It is pure fire.

I gotta say, I’m feeling it.

It’s definitely anti cherry.

On my lips is Mama by Colour Pop, it’s their ultra matte formula so I topped it with Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie gloss in Super Star.

How are you guys feeling about the cherry craze in the makeup world? Are you in?

xoxo,

Sunshine.
