I recently discovered something about myself.
I’m insecure in my 40+ year old skin. Well, insecure about my skin is a better way to put it. I get Botox in my forehead. I moisturize. I exfoliate. I wear less powder. I choose my face products wisely, no shimmer here, there or there and still I’d rather post a photo with barnyard animal ears and smooth skin than I would my normal no filter, no face tuned face.
Why is that?
I know I’m not the only one. I have Facebook and Insta. I see more barnyard ears than I see normal people ears.
Feelin’ like Ol’ McDonald round here!
This bothers me.
Instead of being grateful for my graceful yet evident aging, I still opt to cover my wrinkles and crevices and laugh lines with barn yard animal ears and filters?
Anyone else feeling like the world of airbrushing, editing, fillers and filters got ya down?
I need to work on this more.
Happy Day. ❤️
