It’s finally Saturday! We made it thru a whole week of school. No slammed car doors. No I hate school. No school lunch sucked. No nothing. It was nice. Little likes his English class and his Math class. Whew. I know, right? Last year those two subjects were the bane of his existence. Good times. Good times.
This is what’s on my face.
For foundation I mixed CYO Lifeproof in the shade 104 with Revlon Photo Ready in Natural Beige. I like mixing foundations to get the perfect shade or consistency. I feel like this one looks good in photos and on camera but it looks heavy in the mirror. I powdered the perimeter of my face with LA Colors Mineral Pressed Powder in Fair…which really isn’t so fair…but feels good on my face, especially for a 4.00$ powder. From there, I dug in the makeup graveyard for blush and settled on Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush in Genius. And my highlight came from the LA Colors Contour Palette that I’m pretty sure isn’t available any more. I got this from a dollar store trip last Christmas. I wish I would have purchased two because LA Colors knows powders like nobody’s business.
For my eyes, I wanted to use the Rimmel Magnif’eyes Jewel Rocks palette and the Makeup Revolution Reloaded palette. I couldn’t make up my mind, so I used them both. Some of the shades are pretty dupish. I’m just saying.
Anyway, I lined my eyes with Maybelline Lasting Drama Matte, in the shade Jade Olive. I finished my look with Loreal Lash Paradise. Later, I added some Stila Glitter in Smokey Storm- just to my inner corners. I followed the wing initially and thought it was a bit much. I took that off and was much more satisfied with the look.
What are we thinking about this cut crease action?
For my lips, I prepped with Blistex Soft and Lush, I LOVE this stuff. I used Essence Lipliner in the shade In The Nude, filled them in with Wet N Wild’s Bare it all, and topped that with Hard Candy’s Plumping Serum, (it’s not plumping but it’s still nice) in the shade Pink Cadillac.
I tried the Hard Candy Sheer Envy setting spray in Glow, I think it’s nice. It smells like a little strange, but the end result is definitely positive.
And that’s what’s on my face today.
