Have you guys heard of Bumping Uglies? Not that kind of bumping uglies, but Bumping Uglies, the band. I have a thing for reggae. I’m a mood music kind of person and Reggae makes me happy. The Mister said yesterday that I should listen to them, he thought I’d like the music and they’re all about that taco life. He knows me so well. I do like the music and well, Sunshine and tacos.
What’s on my face today? I’m in my feelings for Fall y’all, and my makeup reflects it.
For foundation, I used Wet n Wild Photofocus Foundation in Buff Bisque. I’m really not so sure how I feel about this one. Beware, it smells like paint. Or something. I’ve only used it a few times, it’s another one that I think looks nice in photos, but in person it’s a little weird.
I used a little Maybelline Age Rewind concealer this morning because dark circles….and I set it, along with the rest of my face with LA Colors Mineral Pressed powder in the Fairest shade. I used Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hour blush in the shade Genius and topped it with AOA Wonder Baked Highlighter in Cupcake.
You guys, this is another 1.oo$ product. It’s a dollar! Definitely worth it too. I use it as a blush topper and also as a highlighter. It’s pretty awesome.
For my eyes, I used the Morphe Dare to Create palette, 39A. I seldom use this one because it overwhelms me. I look at it and I’m lost. I don’t know where to start with it. Sometimes palettes will do you that way. I used Canvas in my crease and kind of blew it out with Vivid. Then I put the patchest purple shadow of life, called Forever on the outside third of my eye. I used the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in Light to do a sort of half cut crease, and then I packed Trendy all over the lid. There is no highlight shade in this palette, so I used a little duo palette by ELF, the shadow is called Nude. For my lower lash line I used the patchy purple shade, along with Trendy and Passion close to the lash line and blew it all out with Vivid.
I lined my eyes with NYX, Jumbo Eye pencil in Milk, and finished the eye look with Loreal Lash Paradise.
I like the look, I think it fits my mood…. Ready. For. Fall.
I used not one but TWO setting sprays by Catrice. I used regular Prime and Fine first and then for that glow, I used Prime and Fine Dewey Glow. Extra, I know. But it sure makes my skin pretty.
I waffled a bit on what kind of lip I wanted, nudey or berryish.. Fall. Fall won and I ended up mixing Loreal Infallible Pro Matte Gloss in the shade Statement Nude with Ulta Matte Metallic innnnnnn….. I’m not sure what the shade name is, it’s not on the packaging. I believe it came out of the latest buy 60 dollars from Ulta and get whatever kind of little bag of goodies thing. These metallic lippies are sooo stinking pretty, but gah- do they have to show every little line? Whew.
Anyway, this is what’s on my face today.
What are you guys rocking today? Are you ready for Fall weather? What’s your favorite Fall lip?
